The extraction is carried out in the quarry by cutting large blocks. This is performed using drilling machines and diamond wire. In the quarry, blocks are reduced to smaller portions. At this point, the blocks are selected based on their quality and size and they are taken to the Factory.

The quarries from which the marble is extracted are large, this fact allows the extraction of blocks of large and medium size, which allows any type of development. The Quarries are located close to Novelda, Alicante, center of the main extractor and processor marble region of the world.
